This movie is a very moving one in which Tim Robbins acts as the leading role, Andy Dufresne. This movie tells of the life story of Andy. He was a young man with a successful job career of being the vice president of a big bank. But his family life was very disordered. Suspecting his wife of betraying himself outside, Andy appeared at the wrong place and at a wrong time. Later he was wrongly accused of killing his wife and her lover,0 and finally was sent to a prison. There he got to know lots of friends, but also got into many troubles. But he never give up. He used the technology of his major to help lots of people to do illegal things and gradually became a famous person and got the attention of the head of the prison. This kind of calm life ended when he knew that one of his friends had ever met the real killer. But his request was totally rejected.
That sounded disappointing. But it was amazing that one morning Andy succeeded escaping from the prison and was on his way to his wish. Of course, he didn’t forget to take those illegal ones to judgement. Surprisingly enough, he used only 19 years to dig the hole, while for someone else, he might think that is impossible.
Everyone can get something from this movie. What impresses me is the insistence of Andy. He is in such big trouble that he may stay in the prison forever, but he never gives up and uses his effort to solve every problem. So, if you don’t feel good and want to give up, watching this movie may be your choice.
